Castle Films MP71-8:96 Newsreel Bismarck Sea Victory March 3-4, 1943 9:37 American pilots training Wartime footage of huge battle in the Bismarck Sea in the Pacific. American planes catch the Japanese ships in a narrow passage and destroy them. 15,000 Japanese sailors killed. 3 American planes shot down. This was one of the first victories in the Pacific.
